Congrats to you and Mrs. Meanmutt!

Like @SawDog505 i am awaiting the start of hopefully good baseball this afternoon and evening. The Diamondbacks have had an unexpected fun run but the old Debbie Downer in me is forecasting the end of the run tonight...enjoying a fine WCIPA from Wheatland Springs in Virginia which a friend picked up for me a few months back.
    Cheers!

@jzeilinger, I'm not sure why I decided to give you one of these. At 3.2%, it is practically poisonous to your body, which accepts nothing below 8%.

    Hello! [IMG]
Another great day for a beer! Thanks @ramseye4 for today's thread. I'm getting the fuel burned out of my 50:1 lawn stuff with the exception of the backpack blower. I'll be making that thing sing a lot in the next few weeks.
Havin' a session with this Sawyer 4 Stroke Haze DIPA. Cheers!

    1) Sam Adams Oktoberfest (5.3%): An Oktoberfest Märzen from Boston with flavors of flavors of rich bread, toasted caramel, red cherry and cinnamon roll.
    versus
    2) Third Space Oktoberfest (6.0%): An Oktoberfest Märzen from Wisconsin with flavors of rich bread, glazed caramel, toast, woodsy qualities and leans dry. (Correctly matched the two beers blind)

    Winner:
    2) Third Space Oktoberfest:
Two great Oktoberfests. Sam Adams is a class. Smooth bread malt, toasty, and I always get some amber malts mixed with some cinnamon roll flavors.
Next is Third Space. My favorite of the season and gets the slight edge here. Rich, bready, and incredible flavors while also being drinkable. Both are top notch and for a larger brewery Sam Adams is among the best.

Enjoying another Test of Time from Wheatland Springs. First pitch is a few minutes out. Hopefully Kyle "Fred Flintstone" Schwarber and company will NOT be bashing 500 foot home runs today!
    Cheers!

Gueuzérable, a Gueuze with maple Syrup from Belgian brewery Tilquin (10%).

This makes for a very unique Gueuze that really impressed me for two reasons: 1) The maple syrup is coming through here a lot more distinct than I had imagined, without feeling cloying or overwhelming though. 2) The massive ABV, this being the highest ABV Gueuze that I've ever had and one of the few 10% Gueuzes out there, is hardly noticeable at all.

    1) Drekker From The Feet Up (8.0% canned 8/29/23): A NEIPA from North Dakota with Strata for flavors of dank tropical fruit and strawberry, grapefruit citrus, and mango notes. Creamy and smooth.
    versus
    2) Drekker Super Freak (8.2% canned 10/10/23): A NEIPA from North Dakota with Vic Secret, Mosaic, El Dorado for flavors of grapefruit, lemon citrus, with a floral and pine bitterness. Clean and dry. (Mismatched the two beers blind)

    Winner:
    2) Drekker Super Freak
: Drekker NEIPA Battle. From the Feet Up I've had before. Strata all the way. It works nicely in this one. Oranges, melons, pineapple. Strata isn't always easy to do right and I think favorably of this one.
Next is Super Freak, fresh under two weeks. Apparently it's a DDH of their Freak Parade IPA, which is a "world-class" IPA. So this should be even better right? I think the flavors are fantastic. Strong Citrus from the dry-hopping. A piney bite and bitterness off the end. Bet it will tame out within a few weeks. The dryness and cleanliness of this beer is incredible. I took a break from Drekker NEIPAs for a bit, but both of these are redeemable.

A really nice BA stout, clocks in at a "sessionable" 17.3%, right in my ballpark, quite tasty, quite hot. I'll save the rest for cooler fall evening. Good stuff, Dragon's Milk Triple Mash!
