Fran was a NY Giant in the dark days of the team. They got a decent return for trading him back to Minnesota, but my dad was still pissed about that trade forty years later. At least bring him in for a try out

 

On the way home, we stopped at Walmart. It was complete madness in there. Eggs wiped out. Get back home I see that they are calling for a 3 hour window of wintery mix. Everyone panic, now!!!

We haven't learned a damn thing the past few years. I can't imagine the panic if a 'real' crisis broke out? There's times I shake my head and glad I'm in my twilight years.

My job was getting the best of me and I always said I'd go without being forced out. The young guys called anyone with more than 25 years toe taggers. I did the math, figured in genetics and played the odds I won't live beyond my retirement income. Not always an easy decision but I feel better and never looked back.
