Founders vanilla porter and still having some Halloween fun

And sitting in the driveway with friends handing out candy. This year I'm going as the Beer Delivery Guy. If ya know where I live stop by and you'll get a hoppy treat.

Ok, Ive had enough of winter, wind, snow and cold, bring back summer.....Holzlager Hop Invader IIIPA, tastes more like a Barleywine, big'n bold, I like it!

Diving into my first beer from The Veil, Flooded Flooded......DDH West Coast-Style Double IPA Brewed with Motueka, Nelson and Citra hops. Cleaner and dryer than our Hazy IPAs but still soft and juicy. I'm enjoying it but when I buy 2 4-packs of beer and it bumps $70 it's a one and done affair.

 

Hey Bear Honey Kolsch from Bozeman Brewing. Not exactly lawnmower beer but it did hit 50 degrees today.



A solid kolsch with a touch of honey. I may have to try it again next summer!

 

We rec'd a few cases of these last Thursday;
hand delivered by the man himself and just in time for Halloween!

Bottled February 2023.

Moderate to vigorous pour yields a 3/4 inch light pink head over a red wine colored body with lacing.

Nose of black currant and blueberry with some oak as well.

Taste is quite tart in such a good way with the black currant and blueberry front and center.
Finish is tart with oak and slightly bitter.

Feel is, as always, fantastic!

Overall, another excellent offering from Albany, VT.

We have only had about 4 trick or treaters so far. We are the only house with a light on on the whole street. Pretty sad. My wife just started to hit the candy

Beeeautiful!!! It's still light here for about another 30 minutes so no kids yet......cheers!!!

 

First can I wasn't in love with but I'm really liking it now.
Coffee is strong and vanilla plays a good backup dancer. Vanilla adds just enough flavor and sweetness to add but not overtake the base beer

Dead, dead, dead. Other than a pair of joggers, no people or even cars on my street…Mrs. Z is in Charleston SC visiting her stepmom, and they have had a few youngsters on a cold and drab evening. My treat? You guessed it - cold beer - Cheers y’all!
