Great Lakes BA Imperial Amber

Wasn’t sure I’d be into this but it’s fantastic. Big, warming, and rich. Tastes like a sleeker version of a barleywine. Need to grab a few more bottles. Cheers.

Picked this up the other day to give it a second (or third) chance but I stand by my original thoughts that's it's just ok/meh/decent

I think aroma is the best part of this beer, and the graininess is nice, just a tad underwhelming overall.

Well, ... just heard the news about Coach Knight's passing and very said, College Basketball lost a Legend tonight. It's only fitting the next beer be an Indiana beer (and not because of the name, there was no irony in this selection, trust me), it's because this is one of my most favorite beers from the motherland. (...such a beautiful beer.)



And was fortunate enough to get his autograph when I graduated, 'had season tickets every year.



R.I.P. Coach, you'll be greatly missed. You never minced words and you brought alot of joy to Bloomington despite your critics.
