    There's no indication of barrel aging on the bottle label, yet my palate gets a sense of some sort of whisky / whiskey barrel aging. Ah, but wait! The web site indicates the possibility of whisky barrel aging but not necessarily for this edition. Regardless, this is one heck of a big, classic, English style barley wine. Rich, luxurious, flavorful, and a fine sipper.

    Good afternoon, BAs! My wife roasted up some awesome sweet peppers stuffed with spinach and artichoke dip, and now I've got my wings in the oven (air frying). Going with a dry rub today, since it was so successful last week, with leftover Buffalo sauce on the side.

    Anyway, all that calls for a beer. :grinning:

    Still in recovery mode after a good group hike yesterday for a few hours, and then another two hours running on trail this morning for an easy 21k.
