Right along here ba. By, freh hop ale, lag. Single bottle revisit. Still not a favorite, of mine, but decent drinking nonetheless.

Still celebrating, advocates. I'm like the old man in the painting from Goodfellas.

I like this one. One dog goes one way, and the other dog goes the other way. And I'm in the middle w/ a can Celebration saying: “Whaddaya want from me?” Cheers!!!

    1) Toppling Goliath This Meeting Could Have Been An Email (7.8% canned 9/26/23): A NEIPA from Iowa with Galaxy, Riwaka, and Citra for flavors of zesty grapefruit, pineapple, green grape, with some herbs and pine notes.
    versus
    2) Toppling Goliath Cage’s Castles (7.8% canned 10/16/23): A NEIPA from Iowa with Strata, Nelson, Citra and Mosaic for flavors of orange flower, grapefruit, pineapple, some hints of grape and melon. Smooth. (Mismatched the two beers blind)

    Winner:
    2) TG Cage's Castles
: Toppling Goliath NEIPA Battle. Been saving this battle for a bit and figured today was as good as ever. First one has Galaxy, Riwaka, and Citra flavors. Really shows the Riwaka upfront. Bitter grapefruit, herbal, and piney. It almost has a gasoline type of astringency, and I'm not sure what that is. No clue what the name means, but it's a good NEIPA.
Next is Cage's Castles with Strata, Nelson, Citra, and Mosaic. Hard to think of a better hop combination. Nice blend of hops, but none of them stand out. Slightly sweeter and more smooth. This one drinks like a more classic TG NEIPA. Excellent. I couldn't figure out which was which blind, so the important point here is not which one you pick, but rather that when you see new & fresh Toppling Goliath anywhere you pick it up.

The Giants finally have a real chance to win a game, and they’re in the same time slot as Dallas. Probably for the best that this game isn’t getting broadcast.

Watching the Ravens demolish the Seahawks, which is sad for me. Oh well, at least I’ll get the game out of the way early and have the rest of the afternoon free. Cheers!
