What beer are you drinking now? #4036

I am so ready to rip off a few with you all. Long Live will be in my fridge often. Killer beers at an amazing price. Cheers all.

 

@Ocalafox - Hope Shuckers can one day bring in a lesser filling beer you find also tasting great.

Going to go through older versions of the October - November Deep Woods releases over the next week or two. Starting with this batch I already wrote a cellar review for in 2023.

Haha, thanks Jason, they have Modelo, Jai Alai, Yuengling and a few other on tap but if you steer away from Miller Lite or Coors Lite the price jumps from $2 to about $7.50 each. We get 10 wings and have 3 beers each and the bill is $17.50..... then I get home and kick it up a few notches......Cheers mate!!!

Another earned Hamm's while tappin' my foot to this tune from 1950. I hear early heavy Midwest country influences. Like, trombone aping pedal steel guitar. I35 goes from Dallas to Duluth...Gene used a really cool sounding China cymbal on this take. Cheers!

Late posting, but here's a Richmond, Va. BA meetup from last weekend. 3 old guys at The Answer brewpub. Me on the left, my BIL Pete in the middle, and local celeb @vabeerguy Mike rounding it out. A brief but good time was had by all.

Boulevard Nut Cracker Winter Warmer, 7.8% ABV. Pours dark brown with a 4+ finger tan head that left some lacing. Aroma is malty, nutty, with light fruit. Taste follows, plus spice, faint sweetness moderate bitterness, like a hoppy nut-brown ale. Decent mouthfeel, overall very good.
