I shouldn't really post this jam - it's a pretty bizarre, stoned jam with me, Bob W. on drums and Rick C. on bass. It was recorded on a two track Edison handheld recorder so not much I could do to mix the tracks. It has some Zappa-esque moments in it I think, but I could be delusional.

Anyways, it's just a strange jam that was never meant to be heard outside these walls, but I'll share it. I think we were pretty buzzed when we did it.

Phase Three Tonal Range: Mosaic, Citra, Sabro. The Tonal Range series is probably my favorite of their IPA's. Brewed more in the vein of Heady Topper and the other precursors to what we know NEIPA as today. Hazy and soft, but drier with a pronounced bitterness. This hits all of those notes. Navel orange juice and peel, bright tangerine, pink grapefruit flesh and peel, passionfruit, pineapple candy, bright floral, some yellow peach, some mint, little coconut, cedar, pine resin. Fantastic.

Heady while cooking Mediterranean chicken stew.
I'm doing dish duty and prep in the restaurant now because it's off season. I really don't mind. I Like to work.
Promised the Mrs I'd make dinner so back at it after work and shopping.[IMG] [IMG]

Spent most of the afternoon “assisting” Mrs. Z as she (we) finalized 3 days of test driving cars at multiple dealerships, and she bought a new car that she loves!…thereafter, I split a couple of beers at the pub with my buddy…now drinking on the condo balcony - Voodoo Ranger Juice Force DIPA:

I don’t know which is ultimately more taxing on my soul…dealing with the minutiae of car buying/financing/insuring at the car dealership, or suffering the slings and arrows of drinking/rating multiple hazy IPAs with my friends and bar owner at the pub…

Such is life…pick your poison well Advocates - Cheers y’all!

Paging Dr. Bombay (aka @LarryV). I’ve been unable to get a photo to post this evening from Imgur. Have tried various techniques for a couple of hours. Not sure if they have changed their app / service in some unhelpful way during last couple of days.

    next easiest photo hosting service?

Checked out some new to me spots this afternoon...not sure if I'll go back to either...

First up is Benny Thunders. It is a pour your own drinks kind of place, and I kind of hate that. For one, the taps where basically all foam, no matter how you tried to angle, or control anything.

Anyway, my basically half pint of Saint Arnold H-Town Pils.

Sharing the same parking lot is EZ Lounge...sure, has to be better than a self serve place that can't serve an actual pint...

Yellow Rose in the glass, and crunchy tacos. Well, the tacos are about the most low effort thing you will see. I can make these, which is just um, no, when I can make it, you are doing bad. Also, Yellow Rose was basically the only beer not on happy hour, I'm not drinking shit Crawford Bock just cause Karbach (by that I mean AB-Inbev) pays them a lot to make sure that is the only cheap option.

I am 0-2 trying new places today...got to remedy that with a known quantity...

This is better, and Old Fashioned at The Ready Room. Playing Dinah Washington, and tons of other great jazz.

I was going to post my next beer along with this, cause I'm trying not to just post other booze ha. Though also trying to find my good Dinah Washington albums...give me a sec ha

Nice car . The Mrs and i just bought a new car in June. We got a new VW Tiguan, it was between that one and a Kia Sorrento, we felt the VW was more solid ,however the Kia had more bells and whistles .

Phew. Dr. Bombay arrived in my fireplace, put down his guitar and waved away some odd smelling smoky haze. Good to have IT support on demand.

This beer was a bit earlier but I request permission from the BA collective to post given tech difficulties.

This one tasted great and hit the spot.
