What beer are you drinking now? #4077

1) Phase 3 DDH Unchecked Imagination (7.8% canned 11/28/23): A NEIPA from Chicago with Moteuka and Citra for flavors of orange citrus, tangerine, faint green and floral notes. Clean and dry.
versus
2) Phase Three DDH Cloud Street (7.7% canned 11/6/23): A NEIPA from Chicago with Citra, Rakau, Medusa, and Galaxy for flavors of orange citrus, orange flesh, smooth pineapple and melon. (Correctly matched the two beers blind)

Winner:
2) Cloud Street: Phase Three NEIPA Battle. First up is a fresh one, Unchecked Imagination. Great and simple hop combo of Citra and Moteuka. The Moteuka hop is growing on me with a nice floral lime presence.
Next is Cloud Street. Another great Hop combo. Tangerine, some green guava and melon notes. Overall these drink extremely similar and nearly identical. Cloud Street has slightly more complexity. Two great Phase Three NEIPAs.

 

Just wolfed down some Chinese takeout - Kung Pao chicken. Tomorrow I have an appointment with a dietician at the local VA so I won't be into work until noon. Hoping she can help me manage this diabetes BS better. Then I'm off for a week - woohoo!

Thanks, I'll check it out! I've been using Hill's Science Diet - Urinary, which is where he was getting a lot of his liquids since he would (or couldn't) drink from a bowl.

 

Your post encouraged me to have a stout instead of my usual IPA opener. Photo forthcoming.

Just for the record, I did not know what “wya” stood for. I guessed it meant “where’s your ass”. Goggle showed me I was pretty close.

I posted it as I was opening a hazy ass shit tipa by Celestial / Equilibrium. There's a difference from knowing what good haze is and being a straight hazeboi. That's a good beer btw am a Parish Brewing fan.
