I broke down and bought a 12 pack of this today at work, on sale. It is delicious, and combined with Laphroaig 10 year, it's a match made in heaven. Yummy!

I am not doing the Laphroaig as a shot, but just sipping on it, like it should be done in my book.

 

I worked ungodly hours from home today, but I do that at least once or twice during busy season. Had a second beer today, at least, while I was working.

And listened to a lot of the strangest, most amazing band I’ve ever heard while working this evening.

Hudson Valley Brewery - Diadem
It's a very tasty 6% American Pale Ale (or is it an IPA) brewed exclusively with Nelson Sauvin.

@Alefflicted told me how good it was this year, and I just couldn't resist. He was right. It does have a lot more pine in it this year, and I'm a huge pine flavor fan in an IPA.

 

I made a salad with the leftovers for the Mrs.to bring to work.

Might as well have another round of Celebration. A few hours in my car made the 12 pack nice and cold. Still working on the Scotch as well.

It is but in a good way, and not in a bad way. When I was a kid in the 70's, my parents sprayed this awful smelling artificial pine aroma on the Christmas tree. It smelled awful, and I actually had a beer that had a flavor that reminded me of it.

This might just be the best reasonably priced hazy I could find in Miami Florida. The local breweries subpar offerings at a premium price is not whats cool. So yea.. the best hazy from Miami Florida is made in Normal, Illinois. Cheers yall!!

 

I prefer it more balanced, that's how I remember it the first time I tired. I will argue more so that way on tap. I would still it drink year-round, either way
