Howdy Advocates! Thanks @dcotom for 4094. I'm ready for a beer! Recently I've had to stop running due to a right leg injury. It got better and then last week I had a right foot injury or something (drumming was fine) and I realized it was my old pair of winter boots that were putting bad pressure points on my soles. Esp the right foot. Uncool. So, I tossed the boots and upon taking my 1st steps this morning, the tingling pain/issue is gone. Amazing. I guess axing those boots & time off was really what was needed. I never took pain meds or anything. Again, ready for a beer! I will take this day to re-group all running thoughts and come up with a cross-training plan. Bonus: lots of new shoes already in the closet. :beers::beers: Transient Happy Little Trees DDH DIPA. Been a while since I've enjoyed a good Hazy. This is a really nice, lightly hazed one. I used to watch Painting With Bob Ross a lot on WGBH Boston when I lived out there. Cheers folks!

Glad you got to the root of the foot issue. Lower half injuries can make running near impossible. I used to get shin splints really bad & I was stubborn enough to run through them. Not good. Here's to logging more miles in 2024. Cheers, brother.

I should re-visit that one. Had the reformulation a few years back and really don't remember anything about it.

Running some errands on what is basically my Saturday, and I've stopped by Perry St Brewing and am having the latest iteration of their long-running Kumquat IPA.

Not as bitter as some of it's past incarnations, this one is about as sessional as a 7% WCIPA with added citrus can be.
    Seriously good stuff.

    Nice.
Wish I could still get Victory beers in my neck of the woods.

I wasn't aware it was re-formulated, but it's been a long time since I've had one. Do you know why it was found necessary to re-do a beer a lot of folks regard a classic?
Love the avatar, btw. LTIA was the first Crimso album I stumbled across back in the early 90s.

When I first had the new recipe years ago I wasn't a fan. Now it's not too shabby.

A nice combination of roasty chocolatey smoothness and refreshing lagerness.
