City Barrel's Creative Juice Pale Ale........Lots of fruit flavors, mango, orange, balanced, and lots of flavors.

 

This beer is it. This beer might be my new favorite from Tröegs. And that’s saying a lot since I’ve been a big fan of their stuff for many years. So well balanced for 9.5% and the perfect sipper. Notes of peaches and pine, but not overly bitter. Cheers BA!

 

Having another Wormtown Be Hoppy

For those of you who may not be aware, Wormtown is the nickname given to the city of Worcester MA.

The moniker was bestowed upon the city by L.B. Worm, a locally famous disc jockey who coined the name in the late 1970's when rock 'n' roll was in it's punk heyday of green hair and pierced body parts. The Worcester punk scene was so lifeless that it made Mr. Worm think of death and worms--hence Wormtown.

Anyways, I grew up in Wormtown and was playing the local music scene since1965 - here's another ode to Wormtown. I wish the audio quality was better, but it was recorded live so I couldn't go back and mix it or anything.

 

Larry - do you mind saving me a plate? Looks damn good!
