Amazing apps at jakes as usual.


Sixpoint wintry fix. Classic Xmas ale with cinnamon, clove, star anise, orange peel, biscuit, nutty, light caramel, herbal, floral, grass, yeast earth. Medium pine/herbal bitterness and cinnamon/clove spicy finish. Balanced bready malt and sticky spice/resin hop mouthfeel. No astringency. Very smooth, min warming 5.5%. Super similar to great lakes xmas. 4/5

Floodland Worms Within the Lion's Body. It's tart, caramelly, fruity, funky ... a damn fine beer indeed. Also: Roy simply cannot resist a photo op. He sees me set up a beer for a picture and simply must join the fun.

Ah, nice kitty. My pupper, Moe, avoids pictures like his soul is going to be taken away ha. The few times I can get a picture of him is almost a miracle ha.

Taco special at the restaurant today: sirloin marinated in garlic, lime, Cilantro, dried habanada and a little dried scorpion, cumin, smoked paprika w/fresh Pico and Guac. Sold a few of those puppies.
