Fat Heads Tropical Thunder Head Hunter IPA (El Dorado and Galaxy to go with the typical hop bill). This one is at almost 2 months and it's starting to show signs of deterioration in terms of the hop character, but it still delivers some nice tropical notes of pineapple and passionfruit to go with some citrus pith/peel and pine. Bready malts and honey balance it out, with a rush of bitterness on the finish. Still enjoyable.

 

Drinking a Wren House WCIPA, Golden clear with nice grapefruit rind bitterness . 16 inches of snow in Flagstaff with another 15 more coming.

 

Dude, sorry to hear the prognosis. I have been there and know it is mind numbing (had aggressive prostate cancer). Medical solutions today though are just phenomenal and I am sure all will go well.

Drekker Monkey Business BRAAAAAAAAins Double Fruit Smoothie Sour, 6.3% ABV. Pours thick and opaque red with a small cap of red head. Aroma is banana, lime, cherry and vanilla. Taste is mostly lime and cherry, then banana and vanilla, slightly sweet, moderately tart, salt on the close. Decent smooth and creamy mouthfeel, overall excellent.

Yoho Brewings' Tokyo Black Porter a sessionable 5%, roasty, some bakers chocolate, a bit bitter, won't cause me to forget Founders Porter, but better tha expected.

3 Floyds Return of the Ancients Irish Red. This hoppy version of the style just does it for me. Typical 3 Floyds satisfaction. Don't mind this brewery being close by.
