Just finished reviewing Stone's 2012 release of Double Bastard Ale. By far one of the most bitter brews that have passed my lips.

I'd stick with the frozen peas-as a 5 time veteran of the hernia wars there's time for beer later, but getting up to piss every hour is not gonna be fun. Hopefully you'll be required by your doctor to take 2 or three weeks off from work, that's a beer drinker's holiday.

This was a very long work day and that video brought an absolute smile to my face, thanks for sharing that one! I've seen Di Meola front row and center at Lehigh University a few years ago and it was a jaw dropping evening. I have to say though, de Lucia won that showdown, he wasn't even breaking a sweat (and was barely watching his fingers)! Wow! The guy still has the chops!!

Drove up to Vancouver and found Westvleteren 8 at a bar, quiet a surprise. I thought that all the Westy stuff was going to be overhyped due to its difficulty of purchase. I can gladly say that I was dead wrong, this beer is absolutely magnificent.

Drinkin on a Stone Cali-Belgique IPA now. Haven't had this one in about a year (thought it was great then). Shame on me for passing this one up so much. So gald I rediscovered this Stone offering (along with the Arrogant Bastard and Sublimely Self-Righteous that I re-tried a month or two ago.)
