Another one courtesy of @not2quick. This one is definitely “different” with a ton of chili pepper but not necessarily “hot.” Grateful to be ticking another #1 in style off the list

Coming back down to earth with a simpler beer. Listed on this site as 5.3% ABV, don't know how to correct that. I suppose that's not my problem. Nice enough.

Sierra Nevada Narwhal (10.2% bottled 10/2023): A Russian Imperial Stout from California with flavors of espresso, baker’s cocoa, dark chocolate, roasted grain, and a hint of smoke and pine.

Wish I would drink more of these Russian Imperial Stouts during the winter, but they are too large and heavy to do beer battles. Yet, this one stlil drinks like it has half the ABV as listed. A bit smokey and smooth. You don't see it everywhere there is Sierra Nevada but I wish we did. This and Ol' Raspy are probably my two favorites. Stone is in there somewhere as well. I prefer to drink these fresh to get all of that hop bittnerss they put in it. A fantastic stout.

    G'day all!

Nothing like a good Stout to end the work day. And at a great price for a pint.

No ganja for now. I went to the doctor today because I've had this nasty cough/congestion
going on for over a month now with a bit of shortness of breath. He sent me over to the hospital today for a chest X-ray and also gave me a prescription for a Z pack for my sinuses. I did a Covid test this morning which was negative. So not doing any ganja until this gets straightened out.

He did say that there's some sort of virus going around where the cough lasts for weeks. AllI know is that it sucks. Cheers!

Back in the day, many many years ago - the Stone age, Coors was my jam.....and then Coors Gold. Stepping back with a stubby for old times sake. Not horrible. Still seems like one of the better AALs.[IMG]
