I wanted to revisit Torpedo but haven't been able to find it fresh around here. All I've seen locally is 4+ months old. Gonna try it though if I come across some that's fresh. Cheers!

For sure Larry always been 90 days or more out for me , lately I’ve been getting 3 -5 weeks out. Right behind Stone IPA on price and taste it is right there

Fresh steelhead trout on the menu tonight

 

White Elm Single Barrel BBA Imperial Stout, 13% ABV. Pours black with no head, hence no lacing. Nose is chocolate and bourbon. Taste is bourbon, chocolate, marshmallow, and graham, moderately sweet, slightly bitter, no bourbon burn. Decent mouthfeel, if a bit undercarbonated. Overall outstanding. The bourbon barrel provided by WilLiquor's is TBD, they haven't said.

I've rated other variants of this from 4.21 to 4.81, highly dependent on which bourbon barrel and how long. White Elm partners with many different liquor stores on these, and they're usually based on their Fluffaluffagus imperial s'mores stout. No idea what barrel this one is yet, but certainly not Blanton's or Eagle Rare.

 

Having another one of these. 6th Lord. An IPA brewed by Basic City.

 

Wrapping up some work shenanigans and quenching my thirst with a hazy from Snake River..
