    A pretty good brew from a brewery I'm not familiar with: Cabin Boys (Tulsa). This quad style is delicious. Has a dryer finish than the nose. Got me hankering for a dash of petrus, vape tricks (this would be perfect with the cherry overtones), or some other tart.

    you missed out on Nothing.
    Really was a bottom of the barrel beer.
    If it wasn't a 'barrel aged" 12 dollar 6 pack it wouldn't be a big deal.

    ...I hear you...when Tactical Bob's wife called, I highly encouraged her to call the paramedics, which she did...I feel if it would only have been me, I wouldn't have been able to get Bob up...when I got there, there were three paramedics and it took two of them (perhaps the third) to get him sitting up on his garage stoop...I'm 67, no slouch for my age, but with a weak left arm and an artificial knee, I think his wife would have to have called 911 anyway...

    ...I had an earlier experience like that, too, with my last job...the executive summary: this 240 pound man fell and couldn't get up, and I couldn't help him. He said "Don't call 911." I said, sure Ron, and immediately called 911. Then I had to worry about keeping his cane corso and English mastiff calm when the medicos arrived (I had only been on the job maybe 3 days, so the dogs didn't really know me), but everything turned out well...the boss was fine, the dogs didn't attack anyone, and Cara (the cane corso) and I became lifelong pals...

    ...on a final note, I'm glad I hooked my mom up in Ohio with one of those life alert systems...she fell several times, but the alert system (I don't recall which company) worked like a charm...

    ...christ, I foresee more beer tonight for me just thinking about this...

    ...but, hey...I'm glad you and others were able to help out your neighbor...

    Last Fonta Flora beer in the house. Picked this up at the source last March/April. Just an amazing oaky smoky chocolate black beer.

    It was a long tired day and I am enjoying the shit out of this beer along with some music.

    If you only can get to two, its Monk's in the city (wait till you see his taplist) and Forest and Main in the burbs. Was just at F&M last week and had their ESB. As good as Fullers, and that's the best.
    You won't go wrong with Dally's, but John's Roast Pork has a life- altering Cheesesteak. And maybe a pork sandwich that will change your mind.

    Human level ABV my first Troeg’s Grand cacao. Not bad. Starts off like a brown-meets-porter, then ends with a nice bittersweet chocolate note. $11/6x12 oz bottles…I was looking for a beer that isn’t $18 a pop.
