Firing up the grill with some Hop Butcher Haze. Lush Terrain, with Mosaic, Wai-iti, Motueka, Kohatu & Wakatu hops. Really dig this tropical hop cocktail from The Butch.

 

Happy I am with this beer.

 

Having a locally made dry Irish stout from Timberyard Brewing - quite tasty - non nitro.



Dinner was a strawberry, baby spinach and sauteed chicken salad with a balsamic vinegar/sesame seed dressing. Damn, that was pretty freakin good too.

 

Glad no one was hurt. Good luck to the owners and staff. Our family home burned down when I was a kid. Not a fun time for my parents.

 

That & the fact it had nothing to do with Football, WWII or Beer

Hey thanks everyone for your thoughts and best wishes. We all have our problems - this is small compared to many. Not looking for sympathy. Don't want to go overboard but I was kind of in shock when I got to the place I've spent most of my time. Kind of put some soul into it. Anyhow thanks and cheers!

 

It's been a handful of years since I've had a Kuhnhenn beer. Makes note to visit again on my next trip to Detroit.
