Cigar City Brewing Ek Chuah's American Imperial Stout for the 450 main at Daytona. The chili pepper heat starts off very mild at first, but builds over time to a pleasant heat on the tongue and throat. Chocolate is absolutely the star, and it's integrated perfectly into the malt base. Coffee is entirely complementary.

 

Thank you, sir! Oliver knew the St. Louis Cardinals crushed many of our dreams, but the Chicago Cubs are the true enemy.

As I feared, I am getting a second wind now at 9 PM. Maybe that’s good, as the wife started sauce later than usual for a new monthly family dinner tomorrow. She got tired of not seeing the grandkids, watching time fly by, so she did something about it.

A Community Beer Works Heat Rays American barleywine. Not sure about bottled year, maybe 2018. Funny thing is the label says it cellars well for up to TWO years.

Still very aggressive on the hops. I’d say it’ll cellar well for 5-8 at least.

A bitter, almost rye type IPA from broke brewing. Couldn't decide between Seether or built to spill for a broke-themed youtube song so I'm observing the silence....
