Moving on to another well made /priced delicious WCIPA. Elevated very good . Toss up between this and Swami . If i had to choose 1 thou…probably Elevated .

 

Nice. The only way I eat salmon is smoked.
I cant stand the smell of farm raised salmon being grilled. Prob because up to the fire I smelled it all day.

Thanks guys -I really enjoyed it. The Kabocha squash was really delicious - first time I ever had it. With the garlic, capers and Calabrian chilies, it just took it to another level. Cheers!

Making it up to my tastebuds from the dinner beer, my son and I are having an Omnipollo Eliphas DIPA.

 

Splendid! I just grabbed a Forest and Main bitter so I will be joining you soon (assuming I don't fall asleep).

Kros Strain Double Barrel Barrelywine Volume 10 - VSOP, Barleywine, 13% ABV. Barrels are Buffalo Trace Bourbon and Cognac. Pours darkest brown with a one-finger medium brown head that left no lacing. Aroma is bourbon and cognac/wine. Flavor is a real impressive combination of bourbon and the wine of the cognac, moderately sweet, slightly tart, slightly bitter, leaving sticky lips. Excellent mouthfeel, overall world-class. Best barleywine I've had.

If I lived in Omaha I would be heading to Kros Strain for more, and doing this review after. Should have bought more, but I had no idea which ones I'd like best. This is now my 7th highest-rated beer.
