But really: This rule kind of made sense during the curbside days when people couldn’t double check the boxes when picking up and the taproom was filled with boxes upon boxes of bottles for people to pick up. Now it’s fulfilled when you come in and fill out the pick up sheet. It should theoretically be less of a risk of screwing something up. Combine this with the fact that the vast majority of local LC members were in by year 3, so it’s using basically the same pool of people to proxy for a growing number of out of town people each year. For a brewery that’s particularly reliant on online orders & proxying, it seems weird to still officially limit it at this point. I can’t think of another brewery/meadery that places a limit on how much can be picked up at one time. If anything they should want everything picked up ASAP to free up space and have less outstanding orders.

But that’s just me. Cory King’s alt account.

I had a chance to listen to some of this yesterday while working, it was hard to hear but I caught a bunch of stuff in the pipeline

-Very limited gin saison, my favorite sours have been in gin so I’m excited about that

-continuance 5, might contain a adjuncted barleywine with pecans

-next pairfait, I could t tell but maybe it’s a barelywine?!

-beer named after a pet rat

-blis single barrel stout (attempting to recreate D9)

that’s as far as I got, but a lot of fun stuff in the pipeline

All bottles from D9 & D12 rebrews are going to be the property of @TNCraftBeer and myself

Unless shipping to proxies is somehow free nobody is going to do that. Unless they really hate money.

I actually proxy for a lot of folks for Sara, that have shipped to my address a few orders. I’ve actually shipped a few times myself. Shipping is $20 which shakes out to less than gas’s sometimes making it down to Santa Cruz from here ( and food and time etc). They’ve done a few shipping only vintage sales to club memebers and it hasn’t stopped members from double shipping. Guess it all depends on the price of shipping

It definitely stopped me from snagging a couple of times. That and the 3 bottle minimum.

This is awesome. About time they canned a 12oz coffee stout. Now I’m going to try real hard to make it down there.

Oh yea I forgot that one, canned ba stout, is “small” compared to their other stouts at 10% :joy:

canned specifically for the coffee crawl. Making it 10% makes it more approachable for the less beer/more coffee drinkers on the tour

My olive oil arrived today. Labels say distilled in IN. So as suspected, MGP.

I drank my last parfait B4 Saturday, and to be honest, outside of maybe DB generational and Phase Rule, it’s one of my favorite SP stouts in the last two years. I wish Cory would expand to adjuncts outside of vanilla, cinnamon and cacao more often.
