Yea that one is my favorite parfait, so much flavor. I’m interested in the s’mores vibes component.

Cory also said he would never use hazelnuts, and like we all expected he knocked it out of the park

Against my better judgment, yes. That and the LC membership made for an expensive month.

TL;DR - Fact probably not worth it. Art probably worth it.

Source - the guy who drank DWDT before opening both of them tonight. For the record, that was a wonderful BA vanilla stout.

LOL, oh yeah, and I drank Biere Blanche 10 year earlier today while doing yard work. It's a classy affair over here. Don't judge, I'm off work this week, and it was 70s and sunny here today.

You bought both ?? I got the Art as im more interested in seeing if the finishing will be similar to Belle Meade more than Nelson Bros is here in TN now.

I did. And I've gone back and forth on the intelligence of that decision. At the end of the day, FOMO got the best of me. I've made my peace with this choice via simple math. If Grand Cru really is going to run us $60-70 per, we're talking the same cost per oz ballpark. And a lot of us buy SP beers in a similar cost per oz range without giving much of a second thought. The olive oil can at least be enjoyed over many sessions, with many friends, over a long time frame. Toss in the fact that it's Cory's first release of this makes it unique. Not to mention he's widely accepted as an expert in blending (i.e. Art) and very unlikely to put out something that isnt up to his standard- there was a very low chance of this not being good...even had a chance to be excellent. Either way, one of a kind first release from him and I'm glad I bought it in the end. I look forward to sharing with friends and circling back to it on a cleaner palate and head many times in the future. Cheers!

I mean, if you're getting one, I don't know how you could justify not getting both. it would seem to me to necessitate a side by side, not just with other products, but with themselves. BROTHERS GOTTA HUG!

I’ve been thinking about this, do we know it’s Cory that did the blending? We know there multiple parties involved, have we had any details about anything??

Just a tease he made back on 3/2. I got nothing else outside of a disproportionate love of a good, straight rye.

Damn, I actually saw that IG story and didn't think anything of it. I'm so far out of the loop I didn't know what ArtFact was until last week.

Rye whiskey accounts for 75% of the whiskey bottles in my cabinet, so I'll have to keep a look out for this release.

Yea I think that’s as much information that we already have. They’ve been pretty tight lipped on everything else, which is the opposite of side project with specific details

I watched the tasting. I had to laugh that even they brought up how a Pulling Nails tasting would be sponsored by Tums.

AFAIK it’s Cory, Tim Bottchen (Beeslo on IG), and the guy that owns Whale Pod shippers. Their shared passion for olive oil brought them together for this project.

Looks like the Coffee Crawl stout is nitro as well. To be honest, I wish they would just can a regular coffee stout, and not nitro. I basically want the old coffee shop vibes bottles, except in cans. None of this poor hard into a flat bottom glass nonsense lol
