    They're lyrics / refrain from a song (Noah Kahan). I'm terrible at interpreting songs but suspect it means when all the leaves fall & all you see are sticks.

    I get that, probably not going to encourage you that Spring is all busted out here. Only the Hickory & Oaks are being stubborn right now about shooting leaves. Of course, my Sinuses are suffering.

    Ghost River Heliades' Tears Amber Ale

    Very nice Amber color with small lasting white cap.

    Aroma of sweet roasted caramel malt and spicy hops.

    Taste on entry is caramel and roasted malt with a touch more roasted bitterness that needed. Hops are spicy and sufficient for balance without being too sharp.

    Overall it's a good example of an American Amber Ale with a bit more roast malt bitterness than I like.

    Yeah... we had a few spurts of warm wx but got crushed - physically & emotionally - earlier in the week with 6'' of snow. C'est la guerre.
