    Got to spend the morning and early afternoon at Laguna Beach with the wife. Beautiful day.

    Now home and drinking Sense of Wonder from Tree House. An imperial milk stout brewed with coffee, chocolate, and toasted almonds. Sent by the extremely generous @sulldaddy in the barleywine/stout BIF #1. Notes over in the stout thread. Cheers!

    Still sitting on the back porch , thinking about dinner . The wife informs me leftovers of spaghetti,meatballs, sausage and rib tips . Thats great cause here spaghetti improves when frozen,aged .

    I mentioned previously that I wasn't a big fan of Hopcelot mostly because of the lack of balance to the beer. I decided I would try mixing it with a Stone IPA to see if it would help.

    Well, it doesn't really help, but I think the issue is that I don't really care for the hop profile in the Hopcelot. So the bottom line in this experiment - it didn't really work, just kind of ruined a fine Stone IPA. I'll finish the 4 pack of Hopcelot but I won't be buying anymore. I think I only have one left anyways, or I hope I only have one left.
