Seems fitting for a lovely Spring day

 

I just tapped my keg of homebrewed Kentucky Common.
This style is fantastic! This is the first time I have had one, as the style is all but extinct outside of Kentucky I guess.
Why this is not a more popular style eludes me.
It's got great taste, balance & mouth feel. Totally crushable.
I'll be brewing more of this soon, as this keg will not last long. Pairs well with domestic duties.

 

Jesus Marc, glad nobody was hurt! Hopefully no structural damage and the roof is still intact. I'm hoping this shit storm doesn't mess up our flight, we're due to fly up at 0730 on Saturday. Cheers and I'll stay in touch!

Thanks Vann! Well it didn't fall on me while I was under/in it so that's good. It definitely wants to kill someone. No structural damage detected so far, only superficial stuff like the paint I JUST applied last fall.

Can't tell with the roof yet, but I'm almost certain it wasn't punctured through. Somehow looks like the whole thing is suspended by 3 big branches just laying across the roof. Super lucky overall.

Hopefully this nasty stuff doesn't affect your travels at all. I think you should be all good... Just rain next couple days, especially south if you're coming into MHT. Cheers, sir... see you soon!

 

Sorry to see that hopefully no structural damage . Were there 2 limbs that snapped (one on roof and one in the driveway)?

Just the one, it's kinda parallel to the roofline now, and supported by 3 main branches that I left intact until I can get forks under it to support before cutting. Pretty sure if I zapped off any 2 of those, the other would drag down the side of the house and take out gutter, drip edge, window, etc.

I cleaned it all up except those 3 branches keeping it on the roof:

Loving the smell of this especially. Lean more towards the regular W. Weizen flavor wise though.
