Lol. Skinny I am not. Getting a slight buzz on I am. Not quite naked yet, but the night is still young.

Eric Burdon is a simply a great blues/rock and roll, rockabilly, and folk voice. He has a voice that will speak through centuries of cultural change. All of his music is great.....

Two meals today featuring a nice bag of marked down small jalapeno sized red peppers for 99 cents, with even a few more left over for another meal.

Dinner tonight could not have been simpler. After salad, of course, a boneless pork chop with a red pepper, onion and garlic sauce.

And to accompany it, a Great Divide-Orabelle.

sorry no food pics cuz, I was hungry. Thanks in no part to @tasterschoice62 succulent beef pic, haha

That's my Grandma and she's been gone for quite awhile. The most gentle and understanding soul...yet strong because she was around until 92. I'm not whining but this was a great generation. They went through hell. Imagine being around for the development of planes, autos, refrigerators, 2 World Wars, no coal furnaces. Not to sound arrogant but the younger generation will never understand fully how so many made sacrifices to make this country what it is today.
Grandma Grant was great though. You could talk to her about anything. She knew exactly what was going on. Cheers to Grandma's![IMG]

Having lived in Appalachia and coal country, I remember very well the coal man coming and dumping a load of anthracite in the coal bin to fire the furnace.

That and the funny shifting my mom did when my dad bought an old 1949 or so, on the tree, manual Chevy for her to cart the kids to the grocery store, haha.
