Happy Saturday, BA! Games were cancelled this morning due to weather.

Having a Sam Adams watching the United game, because having beers is pretty much the only way to enjoy their games currently.

I gotta say, i'm not really a fan of this new Sam Adams...

Great day it seems, Did you bring some Hommelbier from Poperinge?

I have used the good weather to Kärcher 350m2 of tiles. Got a nice tan, a red neck and even after a shower, still dirt in my hair:-)

 

If possible a rental car (and a driver) would be the best option I think. De Struise and Watou are also nearby. Watou taproom is worth the effort. Being in the countryside can make visiting these places somewhat demanding

Thanks, I've got a bottle of Dupont Bons Vœux, that this glass is begging for

 

1) Fair State Strong Friend Moves (4.5%): A German Pilsner from Minnesota with flavors of lemon citrus, pale malts, yeast. Smooth.
versus
2) Summit Twin Pils (5.1%): A zwickel-style beer from Minnesota that is a newer version of the Keller Pils with flavors of pale malts, yeast. Clean and bitter. (Mismatched the two beers blind

Winner:
1) Fair State Strong Friend Moves: German Pilsner Battle. Two of Minnesota's finest. First is Fair State Strong Friend Moves. A clean pilsner, yet flavorful and smooth.
Next is Summit Twin Pils. Used to be their Keller Pils, but I guess they changed the name for better branding. Summit Twin Pils doesn't quite taste the same as it had in previous years. Good thing I picked up a 16-pack so will have plenty of opportunities to try this one again. Strong Friend Moves really impresses me here. I think it's once again a top notch pilsner from Fair State.

Doing the tourist things with my bro who's in town. We stopped in Golden and tried a new to both of us brewery. We both tried the Evolution IPA #53. A solid crisp and clean west coaster.
