Good evening, folks! Seeing a sports doc on Friday about my injury, so hope to have some answers soon! Until then, it's beer time! Bourbon Barrel-Aged Barleywine from Artifice Ales & Mead. Aged for 2 years, and comes in at 14% ABV. Compliments of the amazing @DIM from a recent trade. Notes over in the barleywine thread. Thanks for sending this one, Dan!

I forgot how amazing this beer is; so much malt with so much resiny bitter hops, has such a nice sticky and dry feel to it…

Good evening, all! I'm having THE GREATEST BEER IN THE... room. Maybe. I'm in the kitchen at my mom's house. My nephew doesn't live here any more, so there's no Corona turdin' up the place. I bought a bottle of CBC's L'atelier de Funk Montmorency Cherry earlier, which I stuck in the fridge for later this week. I'm all in on fruited wild ales, so I'm really looking forward to that one. I also bought a bottle of Jackie O's Vanilla & Coffee BBA Dark Apparition, which I stashed. This Head Hunter was canned on 2/22/24, but is still magnificent. Wanna crown it? Go ahead. I won't complain.

I’m in Denver for work this week. This beer (Barmen Pilsner from Coors) is apparently only available at 12 local restaurants in the Denver metro area, and it’s a bit of process to earn the privilege to serve it, so I had to try it.

Im very glad I did. Very malty German Pilsner featuring lots of cereal grain and bread flavors, accentuated by a nice noble hop flavor. I could drink GALLONS of this.
