My wife's Daddy's beer, whom I never knew. She gave these cans to me after her Mama died on Christmas Day.

Wow, an additonal 6 months in the barrel has done wonders for this beer. The depth of flavor is outstanding! Seems so much more complex...consider me a big fan (and I really liked previous vintages...)

    O hai BA.

Getting moved into my new apartment in the 'cuse, I had a bottle of Odell's Isolation Ale with my new roommate, and it was pretty good. Not huge into winter warmers, but it was a tasty bottle of beer and I'm glad she brought back a sixer. Then, I went over to have a beer with a friend of mine who just bought house in the area and had a bottle of Rare Vos, which was very nice—been too long since I've had that one.

After getting back from that, I had a bottle of Finestkind and finally wrote a fucking review for it—been far too long. Because it is really, really good. Sometimes when people talk about East Coast IPAs being too sweet and malt-forward, I think they’re just talking about some old bottle of 90 Minute they had. If those same folks had a fresh bottle of Finestkind, I’m pretty sure they’d be singing a different tune. This bastard drinks like a champ.

I wish I was going to Hill Farmstead tomorrow...:slight_frown:. I'd love some of their brews, not to mention their glassware.

Brian, I'm maxed out on muling this go around, but I would love to bring you stuff back from my next trip... probably sometime in February, and the beginning of March for sure!

Excellent stuff. Definitely way better than regular Tsjeeses. Nice complexity.

Really great stuff. Fantastic nose and nice robust balanced chocolate/coffee in the taste. Zero complaints.

This was my number one want when I started trading (was being realistic as to what I could get) and when I landed it I was somewhat expecting to be let down. Instead, it actually exceeded my expectations. Just an absolutely amazing beer in every respect. Last night it went toe-to-toe with a fresh (bottled 12/20) Pliny bottle; several people actually thought the test was a trick and they were the same beer.

First shot at the most recent release. Although I prefer about a year on it, this stuff is amazing! Next to Backwoods Bastard, it's probably my favorite Founders beer.
