Good morning, advocates. Nothing like a little Racer 5 to steer the course properly. Cheers!

    Good evening Advocates,
    here I am again!
Unfortunately at certain times there is too much frenzy in daily life and little time for pleasant things... even though I have never stopped sending my reviews by email.
Tonight, however, I found a free moment and here I am talking about the beer I'm drinking right now, before getting to the stove for dinner:

Birrificio 50&50 (Varese, ITA) - GOD OF LAIF - Session IPA (4,5%)

33 cl can (€5 from the pub fridge), on the label: "Lot no.: 524; Packed on: 21 February 2024; best before: 21 December 2024".
This is a very young brewery, but already very present on the market trying to offer a medium-level product at very competitive prices: tasting several of their works, I got this impression of their way of elbowing their way and making their way in a way saturated with offers and product yield very similar.
This is a Session India Pale Ale that seemed quite fresh and fragrant to me, albeit without a real strong point or distinctive element.
Citrus notes on the nose (grapefruit, orange peel) and tropical fruits in the background.
Poured is a rather deep blonde colour for a Session, with a sheen present but not in an extreme way.
In the mouth, a good fragrance that conveys the sensation of drinking a fresh product: the citrus flavour predominates, followed by sweeter nuances of papaya and passion fruit and on the finish also a light (and pleasant) note of cereals.
Easy to drink, but tasty because the mouth is invaded by the citrus and fruity taste, which remains on the palate even after the dry finish (I don't feel like calling it bitter) and in which that cereal note emerges, which almost gives a sensation of further lightness.
Standard, but discreet: smooth, thirst-quenching and tasty: so far their beer that has convinced me the most in their offerings that I have encountered.

It's always a pleasure, I hope it takes less time next time!
    Slaintѐ!
    Cheers!

    Brasserie Duyck (France) ‘Jenlain’., Cheeeeers!

    Outstanding biere de garde here.,

‘Tacos in France’ are not to be confused with ‘French Tacos’.
French Tacos are an Arabic street food creation (much like a panini).,, a tortilla loaded up with various types of meat, French fries, cheese, kebab sauce, harissa, or ketchup, then folded and pressed.
Great grab for the way-late stumble home from a pub.,. (Don’t ask, lol.,)

It's been years since I've been to Hawaii, ate Loco Moco nearly every day, my bastardized version.
Washing it down with a Hidden Hands Bigfoot, a NEIPA. I would think they would find a better name, Bigfoot is an iconic beer to me.

[IMG] There’s just something about this that I really don’t like. Citra, Vic Secret, Riwaka, Sabro. I’m guessing it’s the hop combo because normally OH is pretty damn good.
