Infinite Ale Works Into the Haze, a real solid hazy offering....

Under the radar brewery here. Their price is more than fair and everything I've had so far has been good. [IMG]

Much better screen across the street at Bru.

Starting with my second Hill Farmstead of the trip, this one a bit stronger than the first. Put in a style change note as this is a double/imperial, not a NEIPA.

Hill Farmstead Society & Solitude #7

Bru Bar Notes: 12 oz $8 snifter draft pour. Double IPA, Amarillo & Simcoe. 8.0% ABV.

Appearance: Bronze orange slightly murky pour, bright white thin fine cream head lingers and leaves generous lacing throughout. 4.25

    Aroma:
Citrus and pine, mild strength. 3.5

    Taste:
Sticky orange, similar to sherbet, and that’s the extent of flavors, but very enjoyable if you like sherbet. 4.0

    Mouthfeel:
Sticky, drinks very light and easy for a double. Sweet, but fine for my sweet averse palate. Stick medium plus body, pillowy carbonation. Orange sherbet start middle finish. 4.25

    Overall:
Feels like and after dinner desert, could drink a few of these and likely not get far walking with the hidden strength. 4.25

I hear ya! Kid is just 34 and a weight lifter so a serving size for him is usually two servings for mere mortals.

Just water tonight, time to get back on this diet....

When I go out the hot tub I will scan around ( like to go out with no lights on ). There was a snake ( Rat Snake? ) on the back porch. My dog had attacked it, thought it was dead. Went to pick up with a shovel to toss in the field, it started crawling away and went up under concrete slab. I hope he recovers, we have plenty for it to eat around here. Grassy fields that used to be a Golf Course

Bloodless VI from Root + Branch. This is another collab of theirs w/ the Veil. Effing delicious. Man, oh man. This one is a west coast-style TIPA brewed w/ Cascade, Centennial, Citra, Columbus and Simcoe hops. Give me more, please! Cheers.

Triboxing the hockey and basketball games. Hit on Celtics and Panthers bets so far. Need Knights, Thunder, and Lakers for the games on now.

Sipping on a Boulevard Whiskey Barrel Stout. Drink by Dec 26, 24. Might age a couple past the drink by date. Solid beer but wish there was a little more roast to it.

This bar has a solid craft draft and German beer list. Going with one of my favorite styles.

    Fruh Kolsch

    Bru Bar Notes:
16.9 oz draft, $8, Kolsch, Cologne.

Appearance: Crystal clear base poured in a tall mug. Persistent medium plus carbonation. Bright soapy head yields relatively quickly into sport thin cover over some of the base and around the upper rim. 4.25

Aroma: Salty cracker, lemongrass, light floral notes. Strong and enjoying. 4.0

Taste: Malty cracker, hops fighting here, getting a bit of honey. Enjoying. 3.5

Mouthfeel: Lightly fizzy carbonation, creamy body with honey vibes, leave it at light medium. Sweet, not the typical hop presence I typically enjoy with Kolsch offerings. Slightly salty cracker finish. 3.25

Overall: This is ok, but not one of my favorites. Perhaps I’m too in tune with American heavier hop treatment, but glad I tried. 3.5
