Agree. SP gets majority of my beer $s for stouts, BWs, saisons and sours... however, my IPA money gets spread around. LC is soon to be my only membership, but I would consider Pips if I could ever get in. I dropped the rest of my memberships other than Barclay which I'm dropping (this membership is too much of a shit show for me anymore and few beers actually dropped)

That said, I love hops and always have fresh stuff in fridge. Since Indy now has Narrow Gauge, my $s have gone that way... OJ Run is just too hard for me to resist.

We have fresh Alma Mader and BKS here for hops and yet I still find myself lured to the Narrow Gauge cooler door at my local beer shop.

Thankful BKS started doing mixed four packs a year or two ago. Helps a lot in wanting / needing to try new beers, but also revisit previous favorites.

The saison du fermier b1 on draft right now is lovely.

Yeah, SDF Pinot Noir b1 is one of the all time great SP saisons, definitely holding up well too. Had a few pours of that at Zwanze

    Same with my trading.

Last offer i out on this forum was for one or two cans of VSOGDB for a Cantillon 100% Kriek ( $4$ ) and got crickets.
I know someone in LC who's asked if i want anything and passed on a few as well, just not worth the trouble (time/ money) for me .
BBT was on the opposite end of ny preferece in every waY imaginable, took me 4 dayz to finish a bottle and even shared a pour with a friend so that kinda helps.

I spend my money and time on like...gym stuff and shelfies now,but i guess that's great cuz more beer for people that want it.

    :beers::beers:
I'll for sure eventually grab a horse beer from SP cuz i had a single farm that was great

If I had 2 VSOGDB left I'd have done that. Alas, I enjoyed them all. What's a horse beer? I'll assume it's not you pounding a Montucky Cold Snack tall boy in the gym parking lot.

I was kinda surprised the shit didn't close but at same time not surprised . Now i look at that Cantillon bottle with pure hate:rage:
I almost pulled the trigger on single cans of GDB and VSOGDB for 45 bucks on MBC, but fuck that.

Horse Beer = Farmhouse Ale or Saison , but I've been known to slam a Montucky at "dive"bars as well.
Wife's favorite beers are horse beers which is the one of the reasons i usually seek some out.

So are we thinking public release of Parfait B7 this week?

Was really hoping for a flash sale but I guess not. Yea maybe public, no limit (but 1 can at a time!)

Looks like a public release for Parfait 7 tomorrow.

Public release is no limit. Not surprising.

I wonder why they restricted it to 1pp for LC, 80ish cans still hanging out. Would have been an insta sell out for LC with no limit

I bought an extra can for my casual beer-drinking proxy.

I am assuming the plan for all LC members to pick a Silent Barrel release in small groups is officially dead.

They weren't my favorite releases, but I thought the idea of doing a tasting like this would be fun.

Was a great idea but mathematically impossible to get all of LC through

Are you saying this due to information that you heard or saw, or the fact that it has been a painfully slow process?

I agree though. Not super impressed with the single-barrel program. The juice itself seems to be quite underwhelming. Also charging $75 a pop is ridiculous. Don't get me wrong, I was super lucky to have been a part of the first session and it was fun as hell. The SP team engaged and took care of us during the session. But let's be real, the reason we are hooked on SP is due to Cory's blending magic.

375s of Bleu hitting Tavour @ $35 + tax. Yeesh. I know there's a convenience markup, but Jesus.

Radio silence is my only source. If they need to do 30-40 more of these to get everyone included, I don’t see it happening with long stretches of silence.

I asked at the brewery a few months ago when the next round of signups were going to start, I got crickets & shoulder shrugs from probably 5 different workers.

All of the workers who would know don’t (usually) work behind the bar anymore.

Pretty sure it would be way more than 30-40 sessions too. More like 100.
