Hop Butcher Blazed Green Relish (8.0% canned 2/6/24): A NEIPA from Chicago with Citra, Strata, and Sabro for flavors of fresh orange, green papaya, and zesty citrus.

Getting through more of the stash of these. Continuing on the Strata IPA train today. This one has a lot more sweetness as Hop Butcher usually does. Less of the citrus zest of the Toppling Goliath ones. It's more smooth on the mouthfeel and distinctively Hop Butcher flavors. IYKYK. I'm going to keep enjoying and working on these. Too much Hop Butcher is a good problem to have right now.

 

Cool today, so I'm mowing and trimming. Breaking for beer. It's Melvin IPA and then back to work.

Oh hey. How's it goin' there? Had a surprise visit yesterday with some friends, Andy & Gala, and we ended up getting rather bombed. I turned them onto beers they'd never had or seen: Fulton Rush Blonde Ale, FW Union Jack WCIPA, St Feuillien Triple, Unibroue Wit & IPA. I raised Helles with a Tucher 4pk & ended with a Schlenkerla Marzen. Whew! Knocked me out....
I'm ready for beer. Fair State/Bent Paddle Rudimentary Scrapbook Dip Hopped Pale Ale 5.1% ABV. Very tasty brew. Pale and slightly full-flavored for being lighter bodied. <>Pretty mellow here today. Had to reschedule a couple of band rehearsals as a few of the guys are Timberwolves ticket holders and the team just advanced to the next 4 games. Hasn't happened in 20 years. Cheers!!

Von Trapp's DUNKEL, stepped into Total Wine yesterday and discovered Von Trapp beers are now being distributed in South Florida/Miami. Hope to see more top choice Lager-centric breweries being sold down here. This Dunkel is hitting the spot. Cheers!!

 

I agree you can rely on Miller HL being Miller HL. It pairs well with food to. I get em at 1 of my local spots when i get my fish n chips. Keeps the ticket cheaper to.

Yeah you mentioned weather. It's already hitting 90 here and you can tell its about to get hot as balls. So these crispy pale lagers are starting to slap. The Lakewood Stubs iv been drinking is perfect. Nice pils hop bitterness at 4.5%.
