I love P4P, think it falls slightly behind PtE, especially this year, when they dialed it down to 7%.

Social Fabric, a NEIPA from American brewery Finback (8%).

his is my kind of NEIPA, being quite juicy, but also having some bitter, resinous and earthy accents to it. Idaho 7 is getting more and more of a favorite of mine. I love those earthy black tea and resinous pine notes to it, as well as expressive tropical and citrus notes as well.

...I'd be hard-pressed to choose between the two if both were readily available...the ABV difference (8% - PtE, 7% - PfP) is minimal, but that triple dry-hopped character of PfP makes for an extremely smooth and tasty adult beverage...

EQ TIPA. Lots of l floaties. Super smooth and drinkable for the abv. Overripe pineapple stands out with other tropicals. There is something unique on the nose here. I can't put my finger on it. It's not bad just really different. [IMG]

    Hey peeps,

A beautiful day here on the Colorado Front Range; got out for about 11+ miles on road and trails, felt great.

Found an old NA/UA "Gold" beer in the back of the big fridge; so why not?

But man I want a real beer... we'll see. Happy birfday to @DavetotheB !!!

    Cheers!

Going Timeless from Monkish. I haven't sang this one in a minute, but I tend to sing it to IPAs when I'm really in the mood. Peace...

Dammmm Hop Butcher...your attempt at West Coast IPA is SHITEE!!! Lesson #1 - NEVER EVER EVER TRUST A MID-WEST BREWERY TO MAKE AN ACCEPTABLE WCIPA. ALWAYS ALWAYS GO WITH A WEST COAST BREWERY FOR MINIMUM DISAPPOINTMENT. CHEEERS!!

    1) New Glarus Pilsner (unknown ABV): A German Pils from Wisconsin with flavors of faint citrus, smooth bread malt, yeast.
    versus
    2) New Glarus Kid Kolsch (5.5%): A Kolsch-style beer from Wisconsin with flavors of white grape, citrus, pale bread malt. Yeast. (Correctly matched the two beers blind)

    Winner:
    2) New Glarus Kid Kolsch:
New Glarus Battle. First is their Pilsner. Apparently a hybrid between a Czech and German Pils. Noble hops, mild citrus and flower, with smooth yeast and bread malts. Fairly mild overall. Good and clean, but not my favorite by any means.
Next is their Kolsch. Much stronger aromas and falvors. White grape, citrus, a fruity and floral yeast. Similar pale malts. Much more flavor here and this could be one of the better Kolschs out there. Not a fan of the pilsner, but New Glarus makes some great yeast-foward beers and Kid Kolsch is one of them.

Mechanical Boss west coast IPA at Liquid Mechanics. Another winning collaboration with Woods Boss. They've been churning out some really good ones this year.
