Bipped into Great Northern whilst running errands, and grabbed a pint Westies With Our Besties, a collab supporting Washington Brewers Guild, brewed at Kulshan. Nice beer.

Done with work today, and I've been waiting all day for this. I would have posted this in NBW tomorrow, but, I got to sample it at work yesterday. I'm headed to Blackstack on Sunday with a couple of coworkers who have never been there. Should be a blast.

From a 16oz can with no date on it, but we did get it in stock on the 6th of June.

Murky and hazy looking. It has the color of a banana cream pie, and it also looks like one with the white head that is 2 finger in size. The head retention is decent and there's some lacing on the glass.
The nose is a hop based one, as expected. Tropical notes of mango, and pineapple with a touch of dank bringing up the rear.
Taste - This beer has more of the pineapple in the flavor than the nose and mango is more in the background. I also get that dank, but it is very faint.
Very smooth and soft body. The bitterness from the hops linger in my throat, and I keep burping them. Does not feel like an over 8% beer.
Very tasty colab between two well renowned breweries.

It’s a beautiful late afternoon and I ducked out of work early to try a new hazy at Untied Brewing, Forevers End, a variant of the flagship File This. It’s the first new IPA made by the new head brewer, who previously worked at Lawson’s. This is very good. Cheers!

My Ballantine light (gifted by a good friend) is missing some parts (cut out of frame up top)... The fuzzy can up front is a beer I would normally never drink more than once, but this is my second in half a day - Dock Street / Man Full of Mocha... Found this tune on a 'shoegaze' mix. Song of the day. [IMG]
