What beer are you drinking now? #4259

In this part of Pennsylvania, this is lager. Cheers.

 

In Texas for work, had to go to Walmart for some stuff, and they had this excellent beer fresh (BBD of 8/1/34) in a cooler.

The beer godz truly smile on all of us beer nerds.

I’ve not had this in a while, but it’s still really good, with nice citrus notes and loads of resiny. I’m so happy I could cry.

Good tune .. probably my favorite newer band. No autotune bullshit on her voice, I dig her. In case anyone is wondering, her guitarist Henri Cash plays Randy Parsons guitars most of the time.

 

Hop Butcher Blazed Green Relish (8.0% canned 2/6/24): A NEIPA from Chicago with Citra, Strata, and Sabro for flavors of fresh orange, green papaya, and zesty citrus.

Working through the stash of these. Still enjoying.

It's a great brew!

 

This one is rather impressive also.

Rotisserie chicken salad for supper with a Second Fiddle.

 

Roaring Table All-American Burger "California" IPA. I've heard great things about this one. Getting blueberry, diesely dank, some raspberry, ruby red grapefruit and tangerine flesh and peel, lemon, passionfruit, pine resin. Bone dry and a good bitterness. Clean and refreshing. One of the best, if not the best, WC IPA's coming out of Chicagoland that I've had. Would most definitely pass as something coming from a CA brewery like Beachwood, Pizza Port, Green Cheek, etc.

Falling Knife Psychedelic Car Nap (9.2% canned 5/10/24): A NEIPA from Minnesota with HBC 630 Cryo and HBC 1019, Citra Cryo and Nelson for flavors of orange, grapefruit, tropical pineapple, grapes, and mango. Juicy and clean.

First try at this one. A collab between Falling Knife and Drekker. Promising hop combo with Citra and Nelson. Comes through on the flavor as well. Lots of bright Citra flavors with the addition of some vinous notes from the Nelson. Complex flavors and for 9.2%, surprisingly clean and drinkable. This is one of the better imperial NEIPAs I've had. Extremely well done here. A banger for sure.

 

Kros Strain Barrelywine Volume 10 Williquors 2yr BBA English Barleywine, 13% ABV. I previously rated this 4.62.

They're killing it with the Rocket Shark series. Vista Flyer is one of the best.
