    1) Toppling Goliath Cosmic Archer (7.8% canned 3/20/24): A NEIPA from Iowa with Mosaic, Nelson Sauvin & Citra for flavors of orange citrus and pineapple zest, white grape, berries, and lychee. Zesty and clean.
    versus
    2) BlackStack More Than Just A Phase (8.3% no canning date): A NIPEA from Minnesota with Mosaic, New Zealand Nectaron & experimental HBC 1019 for flavors of juicy pineapple, mango, berries, grape with a smooth stonefruit and mango creamy finish.

    Winner:
    Both
: Toppling Goliath vs. BlackStack IPA Battle. First is Toppling Goliath Cosmic Archer. Citra and Nelson combine for great Citra but also vinous and grape flavors. Still drinking fantastic at 3 months, but starting to fade a bit. Still one of my favorite Toppling Goliath IPAs, next to Fire, Skulls, & Money.
Next is BlackStack More Than Just A Phase. A collab with Phase Three in Chicago. Tons of juicy pineapple, ripe berries and mango. A little more juicy and tropical. It's a similar collab to Black Bouquet which was their collab last year and one of my the best collabs I've had.
These are my top Three IPA Breweries in the Midwest so first time, but all three getting a win in this beer battle.

Well, it's currently 93 degrees here which really isn't that bad. After watching all the weather guys with woodies and charts of red inflamed areas on maps, i expected to see my lawn spontaneously combusting but that has yet to happen. So while I wait, I'm having a Blueberry Sparkler as a refresher.

Relatively cool today 74degrees which is much cooler than it's been lately. Got the windows open instead of the A/C on.

Howdy folks. I can have a beer b4 my band rehearsal. Especially because I chopped the lawn today. Schell's Light. Just right. Cheers! Happy Juneteenth!
BTW I had 2 pints of the new Lagunitas Pilsner last night and IMHO it's lame.

Jever Pilsener (4.9% canned 10/2023): An authentic German Pils with floral and grassy hops, smooth earthy malts. Clean and balanced.

Has become one of my favorite and go-to German Pilsners. Floral, grassy hops with a balanced finish of smoothness and bitterness. Going to pick up a lot more of these in my next beer haul.

    Basically yes.
Only more tending towards golden blonde rather than the deep and dense orange of many other Hazy IPAs.
    But, yes.
Even the way in which the bitter finish is toned down is very reminiscent of that style, rather than a classic West Coast style.

That beer looks great. Great glass as well. I picked up a number of these, but yet to try one. Certainly excited to based on your post along with a World-Class rating. I'll be doing a lot of reviews of this over the next couple of months.

I've got most of my dinner prep completed, only thing left to do is to skewer the chicken kebobs which I'll do once I light the grill. So, a good time for a Heady ..
