    I had high hopes for this beer. Both collaborators make some fine beers, but this one kind of falls apart at the flavor point. It's not tasteless, more hop bitterness than any sort of malt flavor, yet seems rather bland in the grand scheme of things. A decent west coast India pale ale, but lacks pizzazz.

    ...sort of channeling my inner @vabeerguy and @jkblr with the evening bourbon...kind of feels right as my smoked baby back ribs go into their final hour of smoking...

    haha - I'm a Flames fan, but have to go with any team from my home country at this point! As a kid growing up in Alberta, I have fond memories of Edmonton winning all of their cups.

    Shade Sentry from Bottle Logic and Mortalis. Imperial stout aged in bourbon barrels with roasted almonds, walnuts, pistachios, and coconut. 14.2% ABV. Cheers!

    Watching the end of the Oilers - Panthers game. Panthers trying to mount a comeback. Putting a lot of pressure on but not looking good for them.

    Last one for the night is a Niagara Premium Lager. My buddy I went to Niagara with really liked this one - I think it won a Medal somewhere too. Just an average lager. Has a sweet smell to it.
