No Sucks 'round here yet, but I know a place that just tapped a keg of G'Night for growler sales- I'm sure that'll keep me happy in the meantime. One of my faves from OB.

I'm revisiting another old fave tonight-

and it's drinking mighty fine. I must make a mental note not to keep passing this one over, it's great with less than a month on it...

Now onto a SKA Modus Hoperandi.

 

Just fired down a delightful Affligem Blond.. The first beer pulled from my newly started collection.

I have the beer collecting bug.. It's dangerous..

 

Had a bourbon slush before dinner, but since then I've been enjoying a bottle of Hoppyum while watching the Cotton Bowl (go OU, I guess?) but it's been doing right by me. Review to come in a few minutes, still working out some notes.

The short of it is: Hoppyum is an under-the-radar solid IPA and a great value, fresh. Not everyone raves about it, but if I lived in NC I'd be proud of it.

 

Just had some Over-the-Rhine Ale from Christian Moerlein, whose beers I've quite enjoyed lately.

Definitely not a typical American pale ale, but still very solid.

 

While reading about my Cleveland Browns head coaching search.

 

First time with this brew, bought last night...I see at least one sixer in my immediate future
