Last one of the six pack and the first I've poured in a glass. I think the hops are more vibrant from the can actually. Cheers all!

 

Happy midpoint, virtual bar people. The bottom shelf of the beer fridge had brown liquid in it, so I’m assuming one of the two beers on their side was leaking. First opened was the eight year old dark farmhouse ale.

At least I hope it was spilled beer.

In St Louis for work, at Perennial drinking a beer (Good Mister Postman, a very nice American Lager) and picking up a BUNCH of stuff to take back home, including 750ML’s of Vanilla Abraxas, On The Threshold of a Dream, and Maman.

I’m so happy I could cry.

 

Not a bad IPA.

 

Two Parts Monster a hazy IPA from The Veil. This is a great tasting brew!!

 

Home later than normal, so just having my go to beer, Zombie Dust with some pretzels.

 

HT by mosquito light. Straight from the can tonight.

 

Hello The Bar… back to a brewer I know and trust: Dominion City, out of the east end of Ottawa



Two Flags IPA is made with 100% Eastern Ontario-grown Cascade hops. This is a seriously well made IPA. Nice and simple

 

Yum, beer! Yum, pizza! Not a big session IPA fan, but this has good flavor and works well with pizza. Cheers!

 

First saw Jethro Tull at The Mosque in Richmond in 1969. It was fantastic! From the balcony I somehow landed a frisbee on the timpani just as Ian Anderson was coming on stage. Ay, that's an 'ard act to follow, he said. We had a blast...

Some Indiana lovin' and just turned the NBA draft on in time to see 'ma boy Kel'el Ware get drafted to the Miami Heat. Pretty cool that Coach Woodson ("Woody") was in attendance to support him.



I just posted this one last week but it's so outstanding and appropriate that it deserves another look, Campbell was a beast of a player. Some Indiana lovin' Glen Campbell style, just jaw dropping unreal:

What a match! SA bowlers held Afghanistan to 56, a ridiculously low total, but the Afg bowlers are not to be trifled with.

The solo from "Shadow on the Sun" is one of my favorite ever. It's super short, but just some outstanding whammy deliciousness from Morello.

 

Personally there are quite a few super hoppy beers I prefer after at least a few weeks. HT at 90 and even more is still good. Yes the characteristics have changed but that's interesting. Canned 4/11 and has morphed into something I liked even more that the first taste
