What beer are you drinking now? #4270

I've cracked Finback High Low DIPA, a hop menagerie that is EXCELLENT. It shall carry me past the mysterious Planet 9 clear the hell out of our solar system into the unknown. Hail all beer geeks!!

 

Son-in-law said if I want to try a good summer beer that isn’t an IPA, I should try Modelo. So I bought a six pack and I think he is right.

 

I wrote a program that removes those links - I just leave it running and whenever I post a link, I post it in my program first and it removes all the extra bullshit and copies it to my paste buffer. Works great.

 

Ah, that is a nostalgia trip for me. I had a TOTAL of TWO games on my Dad's old Mac in the mid 90's. Star Wars, Dark Forces, and Civ II ha (I had no other video games, when all my friends did was play them ha).

Good luck with the doctors - I hope you don't have diabetes, it really is a pain in the ass disease. But the key is cutting down on carbs - my doctor said to keep it below 150 a day. As I mentioned, I don't find beer to be the culprit - it's things like white flour and rice that really spikes my blood sugar. Whole wheat is much better since it tends to stabilize your blood sugar - I always use whole wheat for pasta and pizza dough. You can still eat a lot of favorite foods, but portion control becomes really important.

All I can say is that it can be really hard keeping your A1C under control via diet. If you are diagnosed with diabetes. I would recommend making an appointment with a dietician to discuss ways to keep it under control - what foods to eat and what foods to avoid. Good luck to you my friend, I'm sure you'll be fine. I originally posted it on my OneDrive for folks to download if they wanted to, but nobody took it seriously. It only runs under Windows. I got tired of manually editing the links which is why I wrote it. I've been using it for a couple of years and it works great - also works on Imgur links as well. It's written in C# so it requires Windows .NET
