I'd love that. I've never been to Drekker. I've been to Junkyard in Moorhead many times, and would love to go to their new location in West Fargo.

 

Thoughts on that beer? I was underwhelmed when I had it a few months back....

 

Seems like parts of it were ok but when it all comes together it seemed disjointed and not overly impressive

It’s holding up ok. If anything, the hops are coming across slightly bitter, akin to Old Rasputin. For $8, it’ll do just fine.

Drekker makes some fine fruited sours. I dig them right along Mortalis and Imprint offerings. Chonk is THE craziest sour. Talk about NUTS’D!

 

That song is one of the best car jam tunes ever. The phrasing, the energy… The video was cool, too. Years later, it was sad to hear how the drummer Nick Menza ended up dead, with his wife having some difficulties with the funeral, or something like that. One might think these legendary musicians are all sitting on mountains of cash, but that’s often not the case. Cheers, Nick!
