    Happy Friday. Hope everyone has a good weekend. I am hoping to get an interview at Honda next week. That'd really be up my alley. We are out at longhorn steakhouse because I found a gift card. They have pernicious on tap. Crisp and resinous ftw. Got stuffed shrooms. We've been married 3 months already. 3 more months to 4 years since first date :grin:

    20 ounce medium rare ribeye was top tier. Perfect crust on it. Sam Adam's summerfest for the second beer.

    Revisited July 05th, 2024 for the BA Online American adjunct lager tasting

    ...just like my experience yesterday revisiting Miller High Life, my revised opinion of this beer has raised fairly substantially. I strive to review to style, and in this case (like yesterday), I feel Budweiser is a respectable beer for what it is. It has been one of my go-to's when beer choices are pretty limited (especially at a restaurant)...no shame in enjoying a beer like this when other options are limited or non-existent...

    The Mrs and especially me needed anti-BBQ today. So Friday night turned into seafood pasta night. I always have stuff on hand to create - and many times it's minimal, but I always figure something out. It's fun.
    Gulf shrimp, organic bronze cut cavatappi, jalapeno, garlic, chopped fresh tomato, baby mushrooms, Italian parsley, sauvignon blanc/butter sauce, finished with a drizzle of basil oil. Mrs enjoyed it.

    Moving on to an Urban Chestnut Czech Pilsner. This is a nice change of pace. Cardinals and Nationals heading to the 11th. This is the third straight game the Cardinals have gone into extra innings.

    This is a beer that may be old hat for a bunch of you, but just recently has appeared in MA. That’s appreciated given the general contraction of distribution these days. I am enjoying it.
