Hello thirsty VB'rs! A warm day here and humid. Even hotter and more tropical the next 3 days. Whew!
I just hauled mulch around for 2 hrs straight and I believe I need to move 4X slower to beat the heat and still keep working. Bla bla bla. What about the beer? Well, it's Break:30 time for me with:
Bent Brewstillery Super Eagle Nigerian Foreign Stout 7.5%.

@Jack_14 - I've found the Moderation team and or @Todd approve new breweries and places relatively quickly, so you should be able to add your beer(s) after you add the place.

I'm a bit sad this is the last can in my refrigerator, though I am hoping we get a new drop over the next few months.

I was shopping for a quick light meal with vegetables. De Molen was still in the back of my mind and I wished to see Bommen & Granaten in the store

Picked up this one and also Calvados edition 2024 from De Molen. Keeping those for the weekend (I think).

 

Enjoying a Jai Alai canned on 6/24, while grilling a couple chicken breasts so the wife can make grilled chicken salads for supper is......Basic Dude Stuff.

Fourchette, a delightful tripel from Van Steenberge. Not on De Garre's level...but a damn fine beer.

That's sweet brother. Nice to hear. I revisited my hometown after 25 yrs and was blown away how it had gone from a place where you could buy acres of undeveloped land, a lot of it still farmed with cows, horses, and now it's all gone. New roads in & out, can't go fuck around diving & swimming in the old limestone quarrys, and it's a bedroom community for the adjacent larger city of Bloomington, In. My haunt.
