As @Ocalafox recommends...Tuckaway Tavern is pretty legit. Been many times.

Always loved expensing cork & cage beers for work haha.

    Cheers!

Just me and my younger sister, so no need to go for the 64 pack.

Funny. Not sure if it originated with the Crayola set, but Periwinkle has been my default answer for favorite color as long as I can remember. 2nd fave is Mauve.

Not so much about the colors themselves...I just love the sounds of the words. Cheers!

In Chicago for work, this is Spaten Marzen. I can’t believe I’ve not had this before. Very good stuff, IMHO.

I will never stop fanboy-ing Tree House but bringing home more lagers than IPA's when you visit is when you know things have changed.

Some of the larger Crayola cartons had crayon sharpeners….. which worked, uh….not well.

It's that lupulin threshold or your palate, in this case. Happens to everyone. They're still my favorite brewery. If I'm going to drink a hazy on repeat, it's going to be from them.

    look: 3.75 | smell: 4.25 | taste: 3.75 | feel: 4 | overall: 3.75

The pour reveals dark garnet hued liquid that appears black and opaque in the glass; thin, frothy head, khaki colored. Fantastic aroma loaded with red fruit esters; cherries and strawberries; trace of dark roasted malts. Very good taste; cocoa powder with light milk chocolate; moderate booziness; whiskey; mild bitterness. Heavy body; smooth and silky; modest alcohol warmth throughout.

The beer is approximately a 1 1/2 years past its best by date yet still delivers some great delights. The surprise to me was the smell, all fresh and inviting. The taste was borderline 3.75 / 4.0 for me, but I opted for the lower score if only because the alcohol came across a tad sharp at the finish. Regardless, a nice gluten-reduced imperial stout to this day.
