My neighbor had been threatening me with a Smoked Helles for some time now, and I'd turned it down on multiple occasions as I thought my palate would not jive.

Thrown into today's mix, Schilling Glimmen is beyond delicious!

Another stelar brew from Pedal Haus. Hoppy, great aroma, some bitterness on the finish but very well balanced.

Yes, it's a great deal! Usually have a pretty decent tap list. $2 draft beer on Tuesday, $3 you call it (draft beer and well drinks) on Wednesday, and $4 draft beer on Thursday. Plus it's only a little over a mile from my house.

 

I need to snag more of this one. Stellar batch.

 

So this one..lol. My gf, who is unquestionably the best woman I've ever met (dated tons as a young BA, married and divorced etc..) brought this home as a surprise. SURPRISE!! Her love of the moose made her buy this. I put on my best face and thanked her! So presently, I cracked one and started the dreaded march of consuming it. Low and behold, it's not awful! Thank you!! Moral of the story is, if your girl condones your beer habit and brings you home something no matter how unwanted it may be, you drink it with glee! CHEERS!
