Recent acquisition via the Alpha Hop Society. This is Narwhal BA on steroids, aged 3-4 years in bourbon barrels, including Buffalo Trace, Wild Turkey, Breckenridge, Balcones, and Four Roses. The best barrels were hand-picked and blended, then finished in Eagle Rare barrels.
Reminded me of the old school BCBS wet barrels. This is very good but not great.

I honestly wouldn't have thought you get enough sunlight year around to warrant solar panels working that well.

 

Wow that's impressive. It may have set your expectations too high. What ABV does that check in at Tom?

It tastes better than it looks, if that is even conceivable. I've had this beer many times and it always surprises me with how perfectly it has been crafted. Why is Vermont so far away?

 

I need to check that place out next time I'm down that way.

 

My house gets sun all day moving East to West, I actually have the perfect house for solar power.

Probably won't be as efficient in the winter, but it will still provide helpful power. There's also panels on the back side of the roof.
