    1) Toppling Goliath Haze Cadet (7.8% canned 4/15/24): A NEIPA from Iowa (collab with Boulevard in KC) with Citra and Strata for flavors of grapefruit, blood orange, tropical OJ, papaya, and mango skins.
    versus
    2) BlackStack Pseudoscience (8.4% no canning date): A NEIPA from Minnesota with Citra, Nectaron, and Nelson for flavors of orange citrus, pineapple, white grape, berries, and mango. Sweet. (Correctly matched the two beers blind)

    Winner: Toppling Goliath Haze Cadet
Toppling Goliath vs. BlackStack IPA Battle. First is Toppling Goliath, Haze Cadet. A great collab with Boulevard in KC with Citra and Strata. It's got orange, grapefruit, and zest. Nice Citra/Strata combo.
Next is BlackStack Pseudoscience, a collab with Toppling Goliath. This has an excellent hop profile with Citra but also some New Zealand Nectaron and Nelson. It's big a sweet. One of my favorites from BlackStack. Comes down to preference and I'd give both at least an Oustanding rating. I think that 7.8% is the sweet spot for a DIPA without making them too sweet so giving the nod to Haze Cadet here.

NBW and ISAT cross-post. This is a delicious summer treat, courtesy of Whyteboar. Here is an important announcement. I am not going to host any more events in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. The path forward is clear. I felt it all week, and inquiries and follow up this week has lead me to a decision that I know must be made. Next year the ultimate BeerAdvocate bottle share and gathering will be in Green Bay, Wisconsin. At my house. The infrastructure is perfect. There will be no restrictions this time. This city has everything we need for the perfect experience. 7/18/25-7/20/25. We will start earlier on Friday this time. The first events will occur at noon on 7/18/25 in the Titletown District of Lambeau Field, the greatest sports venue on this planet. Friday evening will include dinner at Mackinaws Grill and Spirits, then a light bottle share. Saturday morning we will gather at The Pancake Place. The official bottle share will begin at 11am on Saturday, to conclude at 4pm. Then dinner will be at Anduzzi's Sports Club, followed by the post bottle share bottle share. This whole plan requires zero paid transportation. There are two hotels a short walk from my house. For those who wish to make it a truly memorable experience, there are world-class hotels not far away, and if you want to go all out, my house is one freeway exit away from the exit to Door County, the ultimate travel destination. Green Bay, Wisconsin, is closer to Minnesota, and provides a path from Michigan/Ohio that does not involve Illinois. This will be the BeerAdvocate experience of a lifetime. Make your plans, save your money, horde some beers, and let me know when you ready to RSVP.

I love a tasty, low-ABV beer, and this English bitter styling hits the spot. Balanced, smooth, flavorful.

After the big beer it's time for something lighter, albeit still 9%. Happy birthday to Mrs. @SABERG and condolences to @DoctorZombies for the loss of his friend will be turning 69 myself this fall and I cringe when I hear of those who pass at or around that age. I raise my glass to Tommy. Cheers.
