    look: 4 | smell: 4 | taste: 4.25 | feel: 4.25 | overall: 4.25

    Clear, golden body; dense, small-bubble carbonation; fairly thick head, white and frothy, rocky and sculpted. Very nice scent, crisp and sharp on the nostrils; mild sweetness with a faint hint of pine and floral notes. Clean and balanced taste; lightly sweet cereal grain character with a lightly bracing hop bitterness; herbal. Medium-light body; crisp with a general overall dryness.

    I do love how many brewers have come out with mild ABV lagers with taste. Wren House house created a beautiful beer with this Czech pale lager. Complex and refreshing.

    Another hot and dry day gives us two new wildfires. One is a few miles from a neighborhood I lived in a few decades ago.

    This C-130 Tanker came all the way from Phoenix and has been reloading and fueling at Jeffco Airport.     Tankers are primarily focused on two fires but a 3rd near Boulder Canyon is growing as well.

    Bill Evans, How My Heart Sings! I think this is his first trio after Scott Lafaro passed away (in a bad car crash). So his new bass player was Chuck Israels. Paul Motion, of course on the drums.

    I think the chances are good; a bit bummed old 'regulars' don't get out much from Half Acre anymore (Space, Navaja) but what can you do? Cheers!
